We’re once again running our annual photography competition during the 2026–27 academic year. We invite you, as a student with us, to take photos of what you get up to on campus and places across the School, the University and the city, to help us showcase everything it has to offer.
Doing something interesting on campus? Take a snap! Planning a trip to the quayside? Let us know! Taking a trip to the coast? We want to see!
The competition is a great opportunity for new students to get familiar with their new surroundings, and for those in their second year and beyond to show what they love about the place.
So, whether it’s the wildlife and nature in Leazes Park, the serenity of the Hatton Gallery, or the elegance of Grey Street, we want you to share your favourite parts of the city and campus life with us.

How to enter
Capture your favourite photo of Newcastle, the Business School, campus, or part of your student experience. It could be your favourite view, place, landmark, or something you’re doing as part of your studies.
Share your photos with us in one of the below ways.
Make sure you tag our relevant account in your post (see social handles above) and use the hashtag #NCLBusiness in the description.
Do not directly tag our handle in your photograph as this is a violation of promotional guidelines.
Use the subject line ‘Photo competition’ and include your student number and social media handles in your email.
Eligibility
To be eligible for entry, you must be a student at Newcastle University Business School during the 2026–27 academic year and be following us on at least one of our social media channels below.

Winners will be given a voucher to spend at catering outlets across the University.
